18th Century Georgian Style OAK Doors

Our Georgian 18th Century style solid oak doors are all made to measure and we offer a bespoke service from initial concepts, designs through to final installation. We produce high quality Georgian period style single or double internal and external oak doors. 18th century doors are usually of panelled and frame construction with a more refined details than earlier periods, using raised and fielded panels and decoration maybe applied to the mouldings, architraves, door surrounds, or pediments creating a statement or giving a room or entrance importance.  Our doors are made using authentic panel mouldings and traditional methods including carved ornamental decoration such as swag, egg and dart, scrolls and capitals.  We supply Georgian style architraves, panelled linings and door frames to create authentic Georgian style period rooms and interiors. 

We will specify and supply 18th century brass period door furniture, we work with several brass foundries who specialise in matching existing antique door handles and brass hardware. Locks and other security systems can also be designed in to all of our doors. Front, rear and side doors will include weather seals creating a barrier from the elements.  

As specialists with period English joinery we are very used to working on period proprieties and listed buildings and understand the importance of matching our woodwork to your existing joinery. Our doors are constructed with traditional joinery methods and finishes using our own methods for coloring, ageing and antiquing.
